In Module II, you have learned that current research results indicate the potential of tree enrichment islands and oil palm agroforestry. However, one challenge is how to bring the scientific knowlege into society and in particular to involved farmers and communities. The question is how can we communicate the promising research findings and scientific knowledge on oil palm agroforestry to enrich the mindset of farmers and people;, while considering local knowledge and perceptions.

Based on your pre-knowledge, what needs to be considered to communicate oil palm agroforestry research (findings) succesfully to farmers in particular and to the public in general?
